★Yelp“Went for lunch on a Sunday. Place not to busy. Easy to find indoor parking. Sushi is excellent quality and fairly priced. Would highly recommend.”

GGoogle“Didn't expect the quality of the sushi AT ALL. It was also SO CHEAP for the quality. If you are shopping at the design destrict, please have a meal here.”

★Yelp“My sister ordered from here and shared a bubble with me. Very delicious. Guacamole and chips were good. Wish they provided a little salsa as well. The shrimp taco was also delicious.”

★Yelp“I love this place! He apparently came from a 5 star restaurant in NYC. This was absolutely the best sushi I have ever tasted. Honestly didn't know sushi could taste warm, buttery, sweet, and oh so slightly salty at the same time. The wasabi was real too. It's from the actual wasabi plant!”

★Yelp“Omg, the way this sushi place is priced makes me feel like there a glitch in the matrix.. probably some of the best sushi I've had (and I eat it a lot) got the 10 pc omakase for $59 tbh if it was double that this would still be a five star review. Every piece was perfectly seasoned and ratioed and just heaven”

★Yelp“Located in MIA food Market (design district) this is some of the best sushi to be had in miami - try the omakase 10 pieces of nigiri plus hand roll - fresh , creative, delicious ! The team is very professional , extremely attentive and all around great people - This is my twice a week goto, never disappoints”

★Yelp“Yes!! Am super picky about middle eastern food! We drove from Fort Lauderdale to try their food and it was worth it. Huge portions, well priced and reminds me of home! The staff were charming and helpful! Not to mention the atmosphere is spot on. We will be back! Oh we ate falafel, babaganosh, salads, sabich, humus, and a lot of other food lol! Rolling back home ..”

★Yelp“I first tried the Wagyu and Uni and omg it was my top 3 for best i've ever had. i then decided to do the Omakase special and just WOW. I have no complaints. my three favorite nigiri's were the salmon, wagyu, and toro. It's pricey but i would definitely come back. I tried other places around and Yasu Tanaka tops them all. The service was also amazing. All around 100/10 experience.”

★Yelp“very very impressed- i've had omakase before, and this by far was the one to exceed my expectations despite the more humble looking setting and more affordable omakase. every piece of fish was incredibly fresh and fragrant - and guess what, was fairly affordable. if you are looking to eat a great tasting omakase for not too much and without the showmanship that typically is associated w/omakase, then this is certainly the place to go to.”

★Yelp“Dinner tonight waz fire.com. i tried their aji amarillo ceviche, cilantro ceviche and a variety of tacos. The food here is rediculously fresh for a food court. Nothing is made until you order it. Their ceviche is so amazing. A combination of fish, octopus, shrimp in A) yellow pepper sauce B) cilantro sauce topped with red onion, homony and cancha (crunchy peruvian corn). They are $16 and so worth it. The tacos on tuesday are $3 and so delightful. I highly suggest this killer joint.”

★Yelp“After walking the whole MIA market twice since it was my first time there, I decided Jaffa had to be it because of my wife's veganism and my love for Israeli and Middle Eastern food as a whole. Having been to Israel three times, most recently end of 2019, and having grown up with great spots in Puerto Rico and Boston, my experience with fresh hummus has led to a high standard and boy did they deliver. The meat kebabs and hummus were very well seasoned and filling. Cannot wait to go back and will likely call on them to cater an event in the future.”

★Yelp“This Israeli restaurant is located inside the Mia Food Hall at the Design district. I recommend that you park inside one of the garages for better rates than street parking (which is becoming quite difficult to find) I loved what I ordered here which was the Sabich platter. The eggplant was incredible and everything was so full of flavour, from the spicy sauces to the hummus. One complaint that I had was the pricing, it feels elevated. Great pita bread here. Please keep in mind that this is a stand, so you will be going up to the counter to pick it up, yes there are tables to sit at, but not dedicated just to that restaurant. I made a trip from Doral and wasn't disappointed and you shouldn't be either.”

★Yelp“So happy I finally got to try this spot, it's been said before but it really is a hidden gem. By the end of the meal I was laughing at the tourists that were circling the market and unassumingly walking past as they were completely missing out. For the omakase - the quality to price ratio is insane. Every bite was melt in your mouth delicious. Each piece had a unique flavor, and it was arranged so that you could have that omakase journey like any other place. While I would have been satisfied after the 10-pc selection, I didn't want the experience to end (and was having a treat myself day) so per their recommendation I got the hamachi appetizer and spicy scallop handroll. Unsurprisingly, absolutely delicious. I'd recommend any sushi fan coming here, or bringing a first timer here that isn't willing to splurge on a more expensive omakase. It's also great for a treat yourself occasion on your own or with a friend - you can buy some sake to drink with your meal from The Bar across from their section. It's certainly a casual ambience being in the market with other vendors, but it's still the design district, so it maintains that upscale element. I went early so I got to chat with the staff a little who were so nice and helpful. I imagine it gets a bit busier as the day goes on, seems like a fun happy hour spot. I would definitely go out of my way to come to the design district strictly for this meal again.”

★Yelp“My friend and I drove to the food hall for dinner on a Monday evening. The design district was pretty quiet, but it was still difficult to get metered parking and find the place. It's elevated on the third floor of the building so we you to take some stairs/escalators to get there. I chose Miami Nice out of the other options as I wasn't particularly starving and they had much more affordable options as well as croquettas which I recently enjoyed at another restaurant recently. You get four croquettas per order and they are about the size of a large hush-puppy. They will be blazing hot on the interior, so be careful taking that first bite or you may burn your lip like I did on that molten goodness inside it. I ate all four of them and did like to dip in the mustard that they provided. I think this is more of an appetizer than a meal due to most of it being liquidy. The recipe and presentation was much different than the type I had in Little Havana. The staff was very nice and helpful. The only frustration I had was that I got a bottle of soda, but it was $6 which I would have not ordered knowing that up front, so display of drink prices would have been appreciated. One tip I have is to get napkins when you order as the tables didn't seem to have any.”
Miami Nice
★Yelp“I thought I was in Tokyo, but it was Miami and the experience was as good as the best I have had in Japan. The ramen soup was the best I have had in the USA. The omakase was a world-class experience. Now the backstory. I was looking for a Japanese restaurant in Miami for our one-night stay. Four menus in a row had cream cheese in every roll. I prayed, there must be an authentic Japanese restaurant and I found this one. Nothing against cream cheese if I am searching for a good bagel. I was looking for the best sushi in Miami. I think this is it. Thank you for the wonderful dining experience.”

GGoogle“I cannot believe I had one of the best sushi in a food hall at the Miami Design District. The fish melts in your mouth and it combined so well with the sauces. I usually always order spicy mayo on the side, but it was not needed for this roll. We liked it so much that we had to buy it again. Not because we were hungry but it was just that delicious. I also tried the Wagyu hand roll and it was fantastic as well. I also loved the service and cleanliness from the place. I will definitely return to here to have this special roll again.”

★Yelp“Today my friend and i got to try this hidden gem located in the Mia Market and it was a 10/10. We were pleasantly greeted by Giovanni at the counter. He provided exceptional service and was very kind and patient with us as it was our first time here. He recommended us to go a la carte. Every single piece was high quality and extremely delicious i kept coming back for more! Giovanni was super attentive to us and made our experience here outstanding. I highly highly recommend!”

★Yelp“$50 dollar omakase is unheard of, especially at the quality. The fish were fresh and basically melted in our mouths. The garnishes and flavors complicated each other. They also used real wasabi, which is rare for even "high end" restaurants. I will definitely be coming back when I'm in Miami again. The only thing was we did not know what fish we were eating or what order we should eat.”

GGoogle“10/10. Fantastic hidden gem! I was out shopping and this was the closest sushi spot on the map. I was a little skeptical because it’s in a food court and it was empty that day but the sushi was really fantastic. No fishy scent and tastes very fresh. The staff was friendly and served everything with a smile. I hope they will continue to do good business for many years to come.”

GGoogle“The best sushi that exists in South Florida. But take note, once you eat this no other sushi in all of Miami will ever taste as good. I almost always get the salmon 5 piece, ototo charcoal and two wagyu miso hand rolls. But as you can imagine, everything is going to be amazing. Also, it's located inside of the food hall in palm court. Very easily accessible.”

◉TripAdvisor“First time in the Mia Market and looked around. This spot caught my eye with the District Dog. I got it with all the works and man did it hit the spot. The buns were toasted the flavor of the dog was great in itself. Great quality and great value! Also, they prepared it quickly. Will definitely visit again”
