“This has to be one of the best middle eastern spots I've tried in Miami. The hummus was out of this world. The baba ganouj was a burst of flavour. The platter was the perfect amount of food very filling and just amazing presentation. I went with the chicken shawarma. Definitely did not disappoint. Highly highly recommmend.”

Very respectable fish list; not wildly extensive but some great choices of a variety of bluefin tuna, shima aji, kinmedai, uni, etc. All nicely put together. Your order comes out quick. Easy recommendation if you're in the area, or passing between the airport and Mid Beach. Totally would stop by again.”

The omakase was a world-class experience. Now the backstory. I was looking for a Japanese restaurant in Miami for our one-night stay. Four menus in a row had cream cheese in every roll. I prayed, there must be an authentic Japanese restaurant and I found this one. Nothing against cream cheese if I am searching for a good bagel. I was looking for the best sushi in Miami. “Jaffa, one of the vendors at St. Roch Market... Impressive quality and taste. They made fresh falafels, hummus, and all the good middle eastern style fixings generously stuffed into a warm housemade pita. I recommend trying their Falafel pita sandwich. My friend ordered a side of hummus for herself, which of course I wanted to try even though I already had hummus in my sandwich. Ha! I like that it came with a topping of whole chickpeas. Very nice! The "Limonana" is their version of a lemonade (natch) blended with mint leaves. Perfect on a especially hot Miami summer day. Great service. They told us it would take about 20mins before we placed our order and brought our food and drinks to our table.”

Those that know sushi know that the rice is where the magic happens but this place goes above and beyond with not only amazing rice but the quality of the fish you get is on par with what I've experienced in Japan... this is one of those places that cares about the quality of the food they put out and your taste buds will sense that love. “After walking the whole MIA market twice since it was my first time there, I decided Jaffa had to be it because of my wife's veganism and my love for Israeli and Middle Eastern food as a whole. Having been to Israel three times, most recently end of 2019, and having grown up with great spots in Puerto Rico and Boston, my experience with fresh hummus has led to a high standard and boy did they deliver. The meat kebabs and hummus were very well seasoned and filling. Cannot wait to go back and will likely call on them to cater an event in the future.”

“Do yourself a favor, skip Sofia and try Sardomare in the food court for the best Italian food. This Sardinian restaurant offers amazing Authentic Italian cuisine . My most favorite plate is Spaghetti alla Vongole (clams) and Gnocchetti Campidanese… It tastes better than in Italy (I am half Italian! ) such a gem and super happy to find the taste of home here in Miami! “I first tried the Wagyu and Uni and omg it was my top 3 for best i've ever had. i then decided to do the Omakase special and just WOW. I have no complaints. my three favorite nigiri's were the salmon, wagyu, and toro. It's pricey but i would definitely come back. I tried other places around and Yasu Tanaka tops them all. The service was also amazing. All around 100/10 experience.”

“Excellent ceviche and a HUGE portion! I got the classic ceviche. My friend got chipotle chicken tacos and said they were delicious as well. I got my ceviche mild only because it was so hot out and I was already working up a sweat, but you can order it medium or hot, which I'd have done on another day. It wasn't overly acidic, and it tasted nice and fresh.”
