★Yelp“fish quality and shari are phenomenal. I had the Omakase and four pairs of ootoro, while my daughter enjoyed the salmon special. P.S.: The wasabi tasted authentic.”

GGoogle“Unassuming restaurant serving delicious fresh sushi in a food court. Pricey, and the atmosphere is not ideal, as it is a food court, but quality matches. I'd go again and again.”

★Yelp“I came from San Diego and was looking for a good hummus place. I was very impressed with the great service and with the amazing food! I ordered the hummus with shawarma and it came in a beautiful impressive display tray! I highly recommend it and definitely be back to eat there!”

★Yelp“If I could I would give 6 stars to this wonderful place. When someone makes you feel welcomed and also treats you with delicious food it means you found a true gem, and that’s what Sardomare is. Chef Daniele is a young entrepreneur and one of the best Chefs in Miami 🙌🏻 you gotta check it for yourself.”

GGoogle“I recently REvisited Sushi Yasu Tanaka, but at their new location in B100M and it Is still, absolutely incredible! From the more intimate and exclusive atmosphere, to the service, it is truly a 100/10. The food quality, presentation, and flavors are all unique and all special in their own form. Hands down, the best in Miami!”

GGoogle“Wow, we went for the Israeli Salad and Chicken Shawarma. This is a healthy food choice place. They also welcome Vegans too. The Chicken Shawarma and Israeli Salad is FIRE. I love the taste, but me and my girl eat this salad all the time. Her mom makes good Israeli Salad to since this is here heritage cooking. Anyhow, nice owners and employees. We really felt welcomed here. I will be back again.”

★Yelp“If you find yourself at Sushi Yasu Tanaka inside Mia Market, do yourself a favor and try the ube dessert. It might be my new favorite. Layers of sweet purple yam (ube) sit over a scoop of vanilla ice cream, finished with a touch of edible gold leaf--simple but unforgettable. Altogether with tax, it came to just under $13, which felt worth every penny. I can't speak to the rest of the menu, but the service was quick and friendly. The seating area is clean and spay.”

★Yelp“Sushi Yasu Tanaka is a true gem in the Miami Design District 🍣✨. The quality of the fish is outstanding—fresh, perfectly prepared, & beautifully presented 🐟👌. Every bite feels carefully crafted, with attention to both flavor & detail. The omakase experience 🎌 is next-level, showcasing creativity, balance, & traditional Japanese precision. The staff is warm, knowledgeable, & makes the experience feel special 💯. If you’re looking for authentic sushi in Miami 🌆, this is the place to be. Highly recommend Sushi Yasu Tanaka for anyone who appreciates Japanese cuisine 🌟.”
Sushi Yasu Tanaka
GGoogle“The quality for the price is truly unbeatable. The service is fast, and the prices are more than fair at $60 for the 10 piece omakase and a handroll. Forget Omakai and all the others and come here. The restaurant is just a stall in a food hall (MIA Market), so it's easy to roll up with a group of any size--even by yourself!--or try other things if someone in your group doesn't want to commit to sushi. It's true that some of the ambiance that come with a traditional, intimate sushi restaurant is lost. You come here for a no-frills, food-forward meal, not sushi Disneyland. If sushi Disneyland is what you're looking for, Miami has plenty of other outstanding options like Shingo and Hiyakawa.”

★Yelp“Ever since visiting Israel a few years ago and falling in love with the greatest food in the world, I've been on the hunt for Israeli or even southern Mediterranean food here in the US to at least get close to the freshness and taste of being there. Until today, I've been coming up short. Then I saw Jaffa Israeli Kitchen opened in Hallandale and told my wife this was all I wanted to do on my birthday. We jumped on one of their two mezze starters, got their beef kofta, and dairy free pistachio ice cream. ALL OF IT WAS INCREDIBLE! With their doors open to enbrace today's incredible weather, it was almost like being on the harbor eating in Jaffa. We met the owner/chef Yaniv Cohen, who was wonderful to speak to and hear how he prepared some of the dishes. Make reservations and go. You will NOT be disappointed. Hell, tell me when you're going, Ill go with you. It's definitely in rotation now.”

★Yelp“It may look like your average Mediterranean cuisine, but Jaffa is anything but! It's located in the beautiful Miami Design District, inside of the St.Roch Market. I wandered in with a friend on a Friday evening and saw the collections of vendors and restaurant stalls that the market had to offer. However, Jaffa immediately called my attention not only because we were greeted by the friendly staff, but the incredible aroma of roasted cauliflower, falafel, and the spices just reminded of comfort food from back home. The restaurant was filling up quickly with a line of the customer but the staff still managed to assist every guest with a friendly welcoming attitude and deliver our food in manageable time. I ordered the falafel rice bowl (probably one of the BEST falafels in Miami!!) and my friend ordered the chicken shawarma rice bowl (the spices in the chicken could be smelled from afar). In addition, we shared a whole Roasted turmeric Cauliflower (which is a MUST try dish if you're stopping by) it comes with zaatar spiced tahini and their warm, delicious, fluffy pita bread. The Roasted turmeric cauliflower is such a great option for anyone, especially if you're vegan. Not only is beyond delicious but is such a healthy and satisfying dish (I could eat a whole head by myself!). When our bowls arrived, our expectations continued to be exceeded. The falafels were nice and crispy, flavorful, and chewy. The toppings worked together beautifully. The spiced turmeric rice and tabouleh were packed with flavor, and the tahini had a great consistency and very smooth texture. My friend fell in love with their chicken shawarma. The chicken was packed with wonderful spices creating such a flavorful dish. Everything in their food was filled with wonderful taste and great presentation. By the end of the meal, we were already planning our next visit with a couple of more friends. With so many chef-centric food halls that the St.Roch Market has to offer, Jaffa is truly one of my favorite spots! This place is perfect for groups or a casual date night or any day you feel like taking a break from your busy life!”

◉TripAdvisor“A MUST for sushi (good sushi). This is a gem within the design district. Second floor within an eatery. The sushi chef is from sushi azabu (NYC). Enough said (a Michelin star rated sushi favorite) This cannot last long the price point is a steal. Venue (3/5) inside of MIA market. A bit confusing to find but perfect place to grab a bunch of bites from different places. Back to the sushi... this place is casual and all about the food. Go here for the sushi (it can't last at this price point). Not fancy at all and the crowd is of all sorts. If you like quiet and fancy.... Not here. Food (5/5) fresh, fantastic, GO! Omakase was amazing! Service (5/5) knowledgeable and kind service.”

★Yelp“I popped by the design district's food hall after running an errand in the area. Located in the far back left is sushi yasu tanaka. I haven't had good sushi in a while and after hearing some good buzz about this spot, I decided to give it a shot. At first approaching the counter one of the chefs right away greeted me and asked me how they could help. After looking at the menu I selected the five piece course. Wow. The sushi is incredible. Really high quality. No real need to add additional soy sauce. The fish melts in your mouth. The rice is well prepared. I will definitely go back and look forward to trying one of their larger options. Keep up the great work!”

★Yelp“I'm originally from Israel , living in the states for a while now, finally found a place by a great spice chef, getting the flavors and taste of home cooking, from cauliflower to hummus, tehini, amba and many things i miss, i'm not religious but the meat is "kosher glat" as far as i saw on the menu. we enjoyed ourselves very much. and the dessert was just amazing. more then anything we expected. as i said, in the food market full of many types of options, that is a hidden pearl a must visit.”

◉TripAdvisor“I can't say enough nice things about this place. I am a huge fan of Pari Pari which is the sister location so I had to check this one out. The fish is so fresh, the tables are open and inviting. My favorite things to get are hamachi jalapeño and the yellowtail handroll. Service is super top notch and it is located in a market in the design district so it is a full hall of people. I highly recommend!”

★Yelp“$3 Tacos on Tuesday! Beautiful presentation and quick to serve. I tried the Vegan (mushroom), chipotle chicken and shrimp. My only complaint would be that the vegan mushroom filling needed a touch of salt. Nothing that would deter me from ordering again as it is a quick fix. Ingredients are extremely fresh. Lovely customer service as well.”

★Yelp“Love this beautiful food hall. This ceviche place is pretty good. I ordered a classic ceviche, which I'm very happy about. The fish is very fresh and the taste is citrusy and light. The chips & salsa is just fine, maybe because I come from San Diego, so probably I have a high standard for that.”
